What Her Clients Say...

"Leslie (Lale) was our architect for partial reno of our loft in Greenwich Village which included adding a room with new window through the exterior wall of the building, new powder room, renovating bathrooms, new custom closets and changing the floor. We were doing the project in a very tight time frame with no delays allowed. Here are the things which stand/stood out about Lale: 1. She was completely dedicated to getting the project done on time with the highest quality possible. Some times staying up past mid-night to meet the deadlines. 2. She is highly intelligent, experienced and has a wonderful eye for detail. She can take a simple wall and make it beautiful as she did for us. 3. She designed our bathroom cabinetry, vanity, and closets which are a work of art. All included in her project fee. 4. She is a straight talker and we worked best with her by being equally direct with her. 5. She knows sources of bathroom fittings etc which we found to be very high quality, beautiful, and reasonable in price. 6. She is very good at space optimization.  I am attaching some pictures which speak for themselves."

“Simply put, Leslie was incredible!   We did a renovation of our home. This included complicated work on structural engineering, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, and design changes to our duplex. In addition to designing a beautiful stair case, storage, a bar, and heated floors - the entire project came in on time!   Leslie's design sense is incredible - she worked with our style - but had input and recommendations at every stage. The stairs look they always belonged.  On top of that, Leslie managed the GC, millworkers, and entire team to ensure that we were pleased with the outcome.   I highly recommend Leslie and team if you want the very best!"

“Leslie did an amazing job. Her attention to details was amazing. One true test of how good the job was, was when the seller of the house we purchased (who we knew socially) and renovated commented that it was amazing how the space transformed after the renovation and how he might not have sold it, had he known what could be done with the space."

"Leslie is a consumate project leader and incredible designer. She guides the client and the design process carefully and elegantly through its aesthetic and logistical considerations and always takes the time to make sure you understand every stage of the project. And from space layout to fabrics and paints, Leslie's total vision of the design and the details lends a warmth and care that was hard to get from many designers we interviewed or worked with previously. Designing a house or renovating a space can be completely overwhelming, but Leslie and the team she assembled made us feel very secure in the decisions we were making. And in the end, the project is gorgeous!"
